What is Sushiswap?

How to use Sushiswap with Metamask from your Browser
- Download and Install MetaMask
- Click Connect Wallet
- Allow to Connect from Sushiswap
- Start swapping
Download and Install the Metamask extension
If you already have a metamask extension on your browser you can go ahead and skip this step.
Once you have successfully downloaded and installed the Metamask extension we can go ahead and continue. Remember to have a hard copy of your Secret recovery phrase for backup. Also, use a strong password for your Metamask password. Do not share your backup phrase with anyone.

Click Connect Wallet
Visit sushi.com to access Sushiswap. Once you’re on the Sushiswap website look for the “Enter App” button, it is located on the top right of your screen.
After you clicked the button you will be directed to the swap interface. Where you can trade, add liquidity, farm tokens, analytics, and many other features. What you need to do is to look for the “Connect to a wallet” button on the upper right of your screen and click it. Check the example below.
After you click the button you will get different options to select a wallet. You need to select Metamask wallet to continue.
Allow to Connect from Sushiswap
After you clicked the Metamask there will be a pop-up from your Metamask extension. Just click next and connect to continue. After that you’re Metamask will be connected to the Sushiswap platform. Also if you have multiple accounts on your Metamask wallet, you need to make sure that it’s the right wallet.
Also once you’re connected you will notice that you’re wallet address is showing on the upper right of the Sushiswap platform.
Start swapping
You are now able to swap tokens on the Sushiswap platform. You just select your main token and another token that you want to swap. Take a look at the example above. It’s showing ETH token to SUSHI token. So if you have an eth token you can swap it with a sushi token. Aside from swapping you can explore other features of Sushiswap. There is farming where you can stake your crypto assets and as a reward, you will receive a sushi token.
How to use Sushiswap with Metamask from your Mobile application
- Download and Install MetaMask Mobile Application
- Select SushiSwap
- Allow your Wallet to Connect
- Start swapping

If you already have downloaded and installed Metamask from your mobile application you can go ahead and proceed to the next step.
Metamask wallet is available for both Android and IOS users. For android users, you can visit Google play and search Metamask. For IOS users you can search Metamask on the apple store.
Creating or importing a wallet on the Metamask app is easy. This includes setting up your password, Securing your Secret Recovery Phrase, Backup your recovery phrase, and verifying it. Just follow the instructions and make sure to read the tips to prevent the loss of your account. After creating or importing an account you can select what network you want to use but the default will be the Eth network.
Select SushiSwap
On the Metamask screen on the upper right there are three horizontal lines, you need to tap them.
Now you will be able to see a different option. Next is to tap the Browser option.
After you tap the browser you will be directed to a search URL page. Just like Google search, you need to type sushi.com to the browser and there will be a dropdown. Just select sushi.com to load the page.
Once you’re on the Sushi.com page you need to tap the “Enter App” button to continue. Now it will ask you if you continue with Metamask or Browser. Select Metamask to proceed.
Allow your Wallet to Connect
After that, there will be another notification for your wallet to use. Just connect your wallet to continue.
Good job! Now your Metamask wallet is connected to the Sushiswap platform. Now you can explore other features aside from swapping tokens.
Start swapping
Now you can start swapping assets if you have available funds. You can select which token you want to swap and select what token you need to swap. The interface is similar to Uniswap but different features are also available on Sushiswap.
